About this website
This is the official website of Young Women of Africa (YWOA), a nonprofit movement. It exists to share who we are, the work we do, and how young women across Africa can take part. It is an informational site, and it is offered to the public free of charge.
Using the site
You are welcome to read, share, and link to our pages. In return, we ask that you use the site lawfully and with good faith. Please do not attempt to disrupt it, break into it, copy it for commercial gain, or use it in any way that could harm the movement or other people.
Our content
The words, design, logo, brand, and photographs on this site belong to Young Women of Africa (YWOA) or to the people who created them for us. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission. If you would like to use something, please ask us first at youngwomenofafrica2021@gmail.com.
Membership and participation
Applying for membership is an invitation to join, not a guarantee of acceptance. We review applications, and membership and participation are governed by the YWOA Statute. We may decline or end a membership where that is fair and necessary to protect the movement and its values.
Accuracy and advice
We work hard to keep the information on this site current and correct. Even so, we offer it as it is, without warranties, and it may contain occasional errors or become out of date. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or professional advice, and you should not treat it as such.
Links to other websites
Our site links to other places, such as our application form, our social media pages, and the sites of partners. We do not control those services and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Visiting them is your choice, and their own terms apply.
